If you are looking to get better performance and throttle response from your Mustang, an external blow-off valve is the way to go. The diverter valve from the factory can fail over time and rob you of performance, especially if you increase psi. This plate lets you eliminate the diverter and run an external blow-off valve.
Improved performance. When you are trying to get more power out of your Mustang EcoBoost, you may find that the factory diverter is holding the car back. This block-off cap, also known as a blanking plate, will eliminate the diverter. This seals the hole where the diverter fit and prevents boost leaks. After installing the cap, you can run an external blow-off valve properly. This will improve throttle response, boost, and help wake you Mustang up.
