From 1979-1993, the Mustang set out to reclaim the fire and passion that had been associated with the name in the first run of the car. After the fuel crisis ended, the Mustang's return to form with the Fox Body showed that Ford was more ready than ever to get back into the high-performance driving market. The Mustang received a new engine and chassis, making it an all-new vehicle ready for harder driving, racing, customization, and more. With this, the Mustang needed a reworked suspension, and with serious aftermarket growth to help, the Fox Body Mustang was ready to make a statement in the performance world.
The Fox Body was one of the most popular body styles for the Mustang, running for over 10 years. With massive aftermarket support, the Mustang reclaimed its former glory. To ensure the cas could handle the racing they were doing, these cars would have their suspension reworked with aftermarket parts. Steeda took to the track with our Fox Body and developed serious performance suspension parts to rework every aspect and turn them up to be more capable than ever before. Running Steeda suspension upgrades on the 79-93 Mustang, we were able to outhandle the competition and show how capable our suspension parts truly are.
