Taylor Albright's 2018 Mustang GT Road Race Car
At Steeda, we pride ourselves on being racing drivers, as well as our customers and friends being racers. Taylor Albright is exactly what we mean by this. When Taylor was ready to make some serious upgrades to his NASA TT3 Road Race Mustang, Steeda was his first choice. “I’ve been buying from you guys since 2018. Every time I get on the phone, it’s been nothing but support”.
Taylor came in to fit his Kona Blue Mustang GT with a new Magnaflow Competition Cat-Back Exhaust,Steeda Calibration, new Hoosier tires, and Apex wheels to pair with his already Steeda-modified suspension. After having thought the car would be just a fun car to drive with basic mods, going full-bore on his TT3 build and we are proud to be a part of his new racing setup. With these upgrades, as well as potentially improving aerodynamics next, Taylor is pushing to bring his car into time attack someday in the near future.

What cars have you owned and/or raced?
My first racecar was a Miata to go with the "slow car fast" idea and I used that for a few years. As fun as it was to race in, it was crazy that I cept getting passed and beaten by Mustangs until I drove one around the track. AFter that, I got my mustang and quickly after began making it a road racing car.
What has this build been for you so far?
I bought the car with the intention of just putting some basic upgrades on, but very quickly changed my mind and went all in. This is the car I want to use to get into full-on time attack racing.
Have you attended any racing schools?
No, I just got into it by myself at first on open track days.
Suggestions for those who may want to get into racing but they’re not sure where to get started.
Honestly, just follow what you want to do with it. If you want to try racing, go for it. It can be a lot of fun and you don't have to start out intending to ever be great at it.
