Improve the braking feel and stopping power of your S550 Mustang with a set of stainless steel braided front brake lines. These lines also increase strength and are a great replacement for old rubber lines that could crack and fail.
Braided stainless steel. Upgrading to stainless steel brake lines comes with a couple of benefits. First, is the improved pedal feel. The lines offer less flex or bulge when you press on the pedal. Rubber lines can expand from the pressure when you step on the brake, resulting in a soft or spongy feel. Stainless lines do not suffer from this because the braided line does not allow the line to expand. This provides a firm and positive feel when you are braking. The second is the improved strength of the lines. Rubber lines can dry rot, crack, or become weak over time. The stainless lines offer greater strength and will replace the old lines so you can brake with confidence when going into corners.
Simple installation. Installation of brake lines is pretty straightforward. Please note that the brakes will need to be bled and the fluid changed at this time. While the installation is simple, we recommend having an experienced mechanic perform the upgrade due to the importance of proper installation and bleeding.
