RTR's Split y-spoke Tech 5 wheel was designed and developed by Vaughn Gittin Jr. These Flow Formed wheels are strong and lighter than traditionally cast wheels.
Gloss black finish. This gloss black powder-coated finish will give your Mustang a menacing look. The black finish really makes painted calipers pop and the finish ties together perfectly with black accents on your S197 or S550.
Flow formed construction. RTR manufactures this Mustang wheel using a flow forming process. This starts will a low-pressure cast aluminum wheel, which is then rapidly cooled to increase elastic strength and durability. A flow forming tool then heats the wheel and stretches and pulls the barrel to its final shape and width with rollers. Stretching the barrel improves the grain structure of the aluminum, giving the wheel greatly improved strength and keeping the wheel lighter than a traditional cast aluminum wheel.
