Upgrading your driveshaft is a great place to start if you are adding power to your Mustang or drag race. The stock 2-piece driveshaft is designed to provide better clearance, have minimal NVH, and handle stock power levels. When performance and high power levels are your objectives, this can be a weak link in your car.
The one-piece design transfers more power and reduces weight. A lightweight driveshaft is designed for performance and is designed to stand up to racing and the power of a modified engine. A one-piece design eliminates a joint in the driveshaft and different rubber components, allowing for better throttle response and transfer of power.
Engineered to meet the demands of the track. The QA1 REV Series carbon fiber driveshafts are engineered for up to 1500 hp and 1,000 lb/ft of torque. The QA1 driveshaft uses a Spicer 1350 U-joint and a high-speed CV joint. Spicer 1350 U-joints are made with a solid, cold-formed body and feature heat-treated and case-hardened bearing cups and supply great strength and durability.
