A carbon-fiber driveshaft is a great way to improve performance and get the most out of your Mustang with an automatic transmission. QA1 driveshafts are made with precision and incredible quality. Engineered for applications up to 1,500hp and 1,000 ft/lbs. of torque, you can be confident that a REV Series driveshaft will meet your needs.
Reduced rotational mass. With the rev-limit on the Mustang GT set stock at a 7,500rpm and being pushed to 7,800rpm and above with tuning, reducing weight in the drivetrain can make a big difference. QA1's carbon fiber driveshaft is lighter than aluminum, steel, and other carbon fiber driveshafts. This results in better acceleration and puts more power to the ground.
Better launching and less NVH. A carbon-fiber driveshaft absorbs impacts, shocks to the drivetrain, and NVH. This means you have better 60-foot times and more comfortable cruising. A high-speed CV joint with a high temp grease and a high-speed sealing boot maximizes performance and keeps NVH minimal, even at high speeds.
Strong construction. The QA1 driveshaft is stronger than aluminum and steel driveshafts. The driveshaft yokes are bonded to the driveshaft with an 11-step process that ensures a solid and durable connection. The REV Series driveshaft uses Spicer Life Series 1350 U-joints to make sure power is put to the ground.
Note: The Mustang driveshafts are designed for stock vehicles. Any modifications can affect fitment. Please refer to the length specifications from the tube end to the CV joint shown in Table 1 in the installation guide to confirm that the driveshaft will have the correct fitment for your vehicle.
