Mustang specific fitment. Pypes catted x-pipes are a direct replacement for 2005-2010 4.6L Mustang GT's with either factory or aftermarket shorty headers and a dual cat-back exhaust. Oxygen sensor bungs are located in the OE position to ensure correct air/fuel ratio readings.
49 state legal. Pypes ceramic catalytic converters are EPA compliant construction and legal in most states depending on county or city emission testing regulations. This assembly is not legal in California due to CARB emission regulations.
Quality construction. Pypes h-pipe assemblies are built from 16-gauge, mandrel bent, 2.5 inch diameter, T409 stainless steel to withstand the toughest road conditions. T409 exhausts are a great choice for people, as it is a more budget friendly option but can still withstand inclement weather. It will develop surface rust over time, but it will not rust through.
X-pipe sound and performance. Due to their low restriction cats and mandrel bent tubes, this piece will increase horsepower especially if your 2 valve has power adders installed. The X-pipe crossover is meant to increase top end power and will produce a loud tone with some rasp at WOT.
