While there are many important components to the turbocharger system on your EcoBoost Mustang, one of the most crucial is the downpipe that connects your turbocharger to your exhaust system.
Turbos work by recycling exhaust gases, compressing them, and forcing this dense air back into the motor for additional power. On EcoBoost Mustangs, the downpipe is designed from the factory to remain relatively quiet and as efficient as possible. While admirable, neither of these things are particularly focused on providing the thing that most Mustang owners are after; performance.
