These springs hold characteristics of a progressive spring which allows for a comfortable ride and still gives the advantage of better handling during track days. The springs rates for these particular Mountune sport springs are increase by 15% over OE Ford spring rates. You will notice a drop in the front of your ST of 1" and a rear drop of 1.4".
With the overall change in your suspension geometry you will notice vast improvements in handling performance over stock springs. The lower center of gravity allows for a reduction in body roll, wheel hop, brake dive, and understeer. You will notice increases in traction and overall handling, not to mention tasteful car stance with the added lowering.
