Floating brackets to prevent damage. Radiators in the SN95 Mustang can be weakened or fail due to the chassis flexing from high-torque engines or spirited driving. Mishimoto designed a special floating bracket to prevent this issue and absorb chassis flex without damaging the radiator.
TIG-welded end tanks for strength. The plastic that is used for the end tanks on the stock radiator becomes brittle over time with age and many heat cycles. This is not an issue on the Mishimoto radiator thanks to TIG-welded aluminum end tanks that will offer great strength and reliability even after countless heat cycles.
