This increases airflow, puts it further from potential danger, and creates more room for lights or a winch. The 3.1-inch thick core and TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks are a stronger piece than the factory tube and fin intercooler with plastic end tanks.
Increased performance. Not only did raising the intercooler allow more air to pass through it, it also improves the entry and exit angles of the air. These smoother transitions make sure that your Bronco's engine is fed an ample amount of air. After 6 back-to-back dyno runs, the outlet temperatures were 20-degrees cooler than stock.
