This McLeod clutch kit is designed to put the power of your modified Mustang to the ground. The clutch offers great performance but is still streetable and comfortable for cruising on the weekends.
Ceramic material. Resisting heat and fade at the track, you can be confident that the Street Extreme clutch will perform great. The ceramic material offers improved holding over organic and will help your Mustang put the power down at the track.
Great driveability. Even with the improved performance, the McLeod clutch maintains a stock like pedal feel. This means street driving is not an issue, and you can cruise during the week and head to the track on the weekend.
Capable performance. Rated for 600 horsepower, the clutch will be ready for those impressive modifications. The high-clamp load pressure plate increases the holding power of the clutch and maximizes the performance.
SFI certified. This clutch kit is SFI certified and meets the specifications set by race sanctioning bodies, meaning you won't get kicked off of the track. You will also have peace of mind when driving your modified Mustang on the street.
26 spline. Designed for 26 spline transmissions, this clutch will not fit the stock transmission in your S197. Your TR3650 must have an upgraded 26 spline input shaft, or your Mustang must be swapped with a 26 spline transmission like the TKO or Magnum T-56.
