This Street Level Clutch Kit from McLeod is an entry-level replacement clutch disc for Mustangs with an upgraded transmission. Whether you have done a transmission swap or upgraded the input shaft, this flywheel fits your 26-spline transmission and provides performance slightly better than the stock clutch.
Organic friction material. With a full-face organic clutch disc, you can be sure that your Mustang will have smooth engagement with this clutch kit. High clamp load pressure plate. The high clamp load that the pressure plate offers helps the clutch hold more power than the stock clutch. This results in a slightly heavier pedal than stock.
Includes parts for easy installation. McLeod includes the pilot tool and throw out bearing to make installation easy and to help you refresh your drivetrain. It is recommended that you also replace your pilot bearing at this time which you can find in Steeda's clutch accessories. 26 spline fitment. The stock 10-spline input shaft can be a weak point on some Mustangs. This clutch fits Mustangs that have upgraded their input shaft to a 26-spline or have done a 26-spline transmission swap. This will not fit the factory 10-spline input shaft.
