8 bolt fitment. This 8-bolt flywheel is designed to fit the 4.6L 4v engines used in 1996-2004 Cobras and the 2003-2004 Mach 1 Mustangs. It is also manufactured to fit the 8-bolt crankshaft of the 2011-2014 Mustang GT 5.0L Coyote engine and the 2012-2013 BOSS 302 5.0L Roadrunner engine.
164 tooth. The flywheel features a 1045 hardened steel 164 tooth ring gear. The hardened steel ring gear is designed to meet the demands of a modified engine and is stronger than the factory flywheel ring gear.
Replaceable friction plate. Instead of resurfacing or purchasing a new flywheel, you are able to replace the friction plate on this flywheel. This means that when the flywheel becomes worn, you can simply replace the plates and save money.
