6 bolt fitment. McLeod designed this flywheel to fit the 6-bolt crankshafts on 1996-1998, late 2001-2004, and 2005-2010 Mustang GT's. This will not fit Mustangs with V6 engines.
164 tooth. The flywheel features a 1045 hardened steel 164 tooth ring gear. This flywheel is designed to meet the demands of a modified 4.6L V8 engine, where a new flywheel is recommended.
Replaceable friction plate. Instead of resurfacing or purchasing a new flywheel, you are able to replace the friction plate on this flywheel. This means that when the flywheel becomes worn, you can simply replace the plates and save money.
