This Ford Performance clutch linkage upgrade kit consists of a self-adjustang clutch cable and heavy duty clutch fork. It is a direct replacement for 1984-1993 Mustangs. 1979-1983 Mustang require a self-adjusting quadrant mechanism to use this kit. The HD cable in this kit is the same design as the 1984 and later cars, it has a high lubricity polymer-liner that provides smooth and consistent pedal operation. The heavy duty release fork is the same design as 1986 and later models to reduce flex and improve clutch engagement. This kit is compatible with firewall adjusters as well as double hook quadrants.
