The best Coyote yet with improvements over past generations. The Gen 3 Coyote sports a larger intake and exhaust valves and revised camshafts to improve power. The maximum RPM was raised to 7,500 rpm thanks to stiffer valve springs. The 12:1 compression ratio was accomplished thanks to cutouts to clear the valves and the dual-fuel system, which provides direct injection and port fuel injection.
Built for performance. The Gen 3 Coyote carried over the Sinter forged connecting rods that were used in the Gen 2 Coyote and the BOSS 302 engine. Plasma Transferred Wire Arc is used to provide superior wear protection to the head. The forged crankshaft has been rebalanced and supports high-rpm use.
**This kit includes a manual transmission engine harness and dual-mass flywheel.
