This 31-spline Ford Performance Traction-LOK limited-slip differential is a great way to get more performance out of your Mustang. If you are putting down more power and are looking to improve the strength of your driveline, this is the upgrade for you.
Increased strength. The Mustang comes with 28-spline axels, which are not designed for heavy track use or high-horsepower. If you have upgraded and modified your Mustang and spend your weekends at the track, upgrading to 31-spline axels is recommended. This 31-spline differential will be necessary for the upgrade, along with 31-spline axels which can be found here. The carbon-fiber clutch plates that are used with this differential are more durable, can handle more power, and can put more power to the ground.
Note: Fits 2011-2014 V6 and 1986-2014 V8. This will not fit the 2013-2014 GT500.
