Ford Performance is now offering this 4.70 ratio front drive unit as an upgrade for 2021-2022 Broncos equipped with M190 front differentials.
OE Sasquatch front drive unit. This (FDU) Front Drive Unit is the highest numerical ratio that Ford offers, allowing you to run 37" tires and retain the same low end grunt you had with your smaller tires. Made in the USA this fully assembled front drive unit saves you the hassle of setting up gears incorrectly and will not howl, whine, clunk due to excessive backlash. Four wheel drive models will require a matching rear M220 4.70 ratio gear set to prevent transfer case damage.
Extreme traction: This unit's electronic locking assembly will provide power to both front wheels and is a huge upgrade compared to open differential FDU's.
Higher torque capacity. From the factory the M190 is rated to 5000 Nm while the M210 is rated to 6500 Nm due to its larger 210mm diameter ring gear.
Note: If replacing an M190 FDU with this unit, you will need an M-3429-BR half shaft kit and an M-4376-BR M210 compatible front driveshaft.
