Set your Mustang up to handle the horsepower and torque that your modified engine will make with an upgrade to the drivetrain and transmission. When you swap transmissions or upgrade the input shaft, a clutch upgrade can be necessary. This Exedy clutch is designed for 26 spline input shafts for upgraded or swapped transmissions.
A great balance between track performance and street comfort. The stage 2 clutch kit is able to handle more power and abuse than the stage 1 kit can. Marcel cushion springs give the clutch smoother engagement that is needed for street driving and the sprung center damper alleviates shocks to the transmission for a comfortable ride.
Improved performance with cerametallic friction material and a stronger clutch cover. The stage 2 clutch kit uses a cushion button clutch disc with cerametallic friction material in order to withstand more heat, stress, and abuse that is needed with track performance or high power engines. The clutch cover features a 40% higher clamping force that gives the clutch higher torque capacity.
