This makes it a great option for a track car or a modified car. The material is stronger and can handle more abuse than a stock or organic clutch assembly could.
Sprung center dampers alleviate shock. The Stage 2 clutch kit from Exedy features center dampers that help to absorb the impacts and shock that your drivetrain is put through as you drive on the street or race at the track. A 40% higher clamping load is supplied with the Exedy clutch cover, this allows the clutch to handle the greater amounts of torque that comes with a modified engine.
