The 10 spline input shaft on the stock T45, TR3650, and T56 Mustang transmission can be a weak point when modifying your Mustang or boosting your pony car. Upgrading to a 26 spline input shaft, a Tremec TKO 600, or a Borg-Warner T56 Magnum allows you to put more power to the ground. This is designed to fit 26 spline input shafts for these upgrades.
Reformulated organic compound provides performance improvements and comfort. The Stage 1 clutch disc uses an ultra-fiber friction material that gives the clutch greater heat resistance while maintaining stock driveability. The organic material offers smoother engagement and makes street driving comfortable.
Ready to handle the power of a modified Mustang. The Exedy clutch cover has a 40% increase in clamping load over the stock clutch, giving it a greater torque capacity that is needed for performance applications. The increased clamping load will result in a slightly heavier pedal feel.
