Drone free sound. Borla's patented "multi-core technology" straight through mufflers let your 2.0L EcoBoost produce a mean deep growl at idle and aggressive tone when accelerating. At cruise coming off WOT, this system will settle from burble and snarl into a barely noticeable tone for pleasant drone free vehicle operation.
T-304 austenitic stainless steel. This cat-back is built entirely from premium grade 2 1/2" diameter CNC mandrel bent T-304 tubing. The dual 4 1/2" rolled tips are formed from T-304 and polished to a show quality finish that will turn heads for the life of your ST.
Perfect fitment. Borla exhaust systems are CNC bent welded on fixtures that match the OE mounting points of the Focus ST. The polished tips exit at the center of the factory bumper in the OE location. This kit also uses the fourth hanger typically not installed on most cars from the factory. We recommend including a set of aftermarket polyurethane hangers found HERE when installing this kit for best fitment.
Increased exhaust velocity. Turbo motors love a low restriction exhaust so they can spool up and go. Car owners with a tune, CAI and other supporting mods will see further gains from this free flowing cat-back.
