The top fill plug with dipstick allows you to check your oil level with no messy spills as well as allows you to check for water contamination after fording deep water.
Cross brace design. The cover features a computer optimized cross brace design that acts as a mini-truss increasing the rigidity of your rear straight axle. With less bending and stress, this cover maintains proper tooth mesh thereby preventing stripped ring and pinion gear teeth. With it's thick cast design, this cover will not peel and leak like stamped steel OE covers when dragging your axle over obstacles like stumps, logs, and rocks.
