Proven results. Each Quantum intake uses a CAD-designed and dyno-tuned intake tube that maximizes airflow and performance. The intake tube is manufactured from an XLPE material that resists heat soak to ensure that intake temperatures stay cool. This system can add up to 9hp and 9 lbs. ft. of torque to your Ford Ranger.
Easy installation. The airbox installs with ease, mounting in the factory location and using the stock airbox mounts. aFe's air filter is easy to install with its integrated filter-to-housing design. This allows you to install or remove the filter with a couple of screws. Installation of the intake will take roughly 15 minutes and can be completed at home in your garage or driveway with basic tools.
Maximum airflow. aFe designed the cleanable and reusable Pro 5R filter to offer great filtration with maximum airflow. The 360-degree conical filter is constructed with five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze with progressively finer media layers and is optimal for mainly street usage. The molded base features a 3-angle velocity stack that improves airflow as air is drawn into the intake.
