VALDOSTA, GA - Steeda, the world’s largest aftermarket manufacturer of Ford performance parts,
is thrilled to announce that it has captured the world record for the fastest 2024 naturally aspirated Mustang GT.
After months of relentless evaluation & testing – our drag racing team uncovered additional horsepower over the summer,
and their efforts paid off with a record-breaking run on the first hit in 6 months!
The gains were attributed to our Steeda S650 ProFlow Cold Air Intake (CAI), ported heads from Airflow Solutions, and Kooks 2” long tube headers.
The CAI alone opened up more horsepower & torque +13 peak hp, +11 peak torque over the leading competitor. These modifications combined with the suspension upgrades; the team was able to achieve a record-breaking time of 10.758 seconds down the quarter mile. The record-setting run took place at 1,300 density altitude (DA) and a temperature of 77 degrees. Powered by pump gas, the 2024 Mustang GT showcases Steeda’s dedication to pushing the limits of the new model year Mustang while retaining naturally aspirated status.
