In the automotive world, those that do not advance and evolve are certain to fade into memory. As the
automotive market evolves and pushes toward electrification and other forms of fuel efficiency and
renewable resource power, cars as we know it may change dramatically. To ensure the future of the
Mustang name, Ford pushed to make the newest branch of the Mustang
nameplate worthy of the title. This meant it had to be nimble, quick, and overall a good-looking
vehicle. Knowing the challenge they faced, Ford set out to design a seriously impressive electric
vehicle to add to their model lineup.
The latest in the performance market from Ford, the new Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition boasts some
incredible stats in acceleration, handling, and braking. While it faced criticism from skeptics at
first, the Mustang Mach-E, especially this one finished in Shadow Black, has drawn people back to the
model with its good looks and 3.5-second 0-60 mph times in addition to surprisingly good handling
figures. We are excited to have the Mustang Mach-E in our fleet to build up, develop, and push further
in the performance electric market.
We are using this Mach-E GT Performance Edition as a test bed for future products and to further develop
the upgrades we have made already. To counter body roll, we have developed both a front
sway bar and adjustable rear sway bar to improve handling, and will continue to develop more
off of the newest Mach-E
we have at our disposal. Since we focus heavily on handling, we are excited to see exactly what we can
do to reduce body roll and improve cornering even further, dialing it in as a proper Steeda product in
addition to meeting customer wishes for products to modify their own vehicles.
From the factory, this Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition is no joke. 0-60 miles per hour in 3.5
seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.6 seconds, and a realistically usable range of between 260 and 270
miles, all of which adds up to a very competent electric vehicle. With instant torque when the
accelerator is fully pushed in, this Mach-E GT Performance Edition accelerates like a rocket off the
line and is comfortable while doing so. Building off of the already impressive figures, we intend to
improve cornering and reduce body roll as well as ride height to keep drivers comfortable through
winding
roads, autocross runs, and even track use.Steeda Gets Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition For R&D
