The Team at Steeda would like to congratulate Donnie Gilder for an awesome race at NMRA Spring Break Shootout this past weekend in Bradenton FL. On his FIRST trip to the track with his newly installed Steeda S550 stop the hop package (555-2129), Donnie was able to cut a sick 1.31 short time on only his 4th pass. This isn't a race car either, this is a daily driven, 2015 Mustang weighing in at almost 4200 lbs with a stock 6R80 transmission!! What makes this so impressive is he launching at only 3.5 lbs of boost on 17" wheels with barely any testing!

This pass was also made during Saturday mornings time trials on a marginal track, no private track rental glory passes here. We expect big things from Donnie this year with his bad ass Steeda suspension and twin Hellion power under the hood. Unfortunately all that traction and power resulted in a broken transmission and ended his weekend early. Otherwise 8 second passes would have been a breeze for Donnie's street car and Team Steeda.
