The Steeda Q500R Mustang places 1st beating heavily modified Corvettes, BMWs, and all others at its inaugural race at Homestead

POMPANO BEACH, FL - Steeda Autosports, the world's largest aftermarket manufacturer of Ford performance equipment, in the debut of its 2017 Steeda Q500R Mustang resulted in a conclusive victory against all comers at the 2017 inaugural SCCA Majors in Homestead, Florida this weekend. Competing in the highly contested Sports Car Club of America Touring 1 Class where modified production based sports cars slug it out in a winner take all format - the 2017 Steeda Q500R became the first S550 based Mustang to take top honors on the podium with a dominate victory against other highly modified Corvettes, BMWs, Vipers and other high-priced sports cars.

Details - The 2017 Steeda Q500R is a rolling test bed equipped with virtually all of the Steeda's designed, engineered, and manufactured parts that retail customers can purchase for their own 2015 - 2017 Mustang. In its very first outing of the season, the Steeda Q500R piloted by Steeda Vice President of Operations Glen Vitale proved to be unbeatable. The race was a test of extreme conditions - from dry to extremely wet conditions, from high speed to twisting corners. At the end of the race, the nearest competitor, a BMW, was over ten seconds behind - essentially eliminated from contention early in the race.

"We essentially took out a brand new race car that is based on our Steeda Q500 Enforcer Mustang series of performance vehicles, added other optional Steeda manufactured components, roll bar, racing tires, and Wilwood 6 piston front brake kit and proved that we could beat all comers in this highly competitive race series - it wasn't even close!
