Suspension Packages
If there is one thing that is important when setting up your Mustang to be a performance vehicle, it is improving the suspension. The S550 features one of the first independent rear suspension setups in the Mustang's history and because of this a new approach had to be taken to stiffen and improve chassis rigidity and handling equally. This meant fighting wheel hop generated by the car's power output, stiffening the subframe and bushings, sway bars, control arms, and more were developed to make the S550 into one of the best handling Mustangs ever.
With our history in racing the Mustang and developing handling parts, Steeda was more than up to the task of building some of the highest-performing suspension parts on the market.
