The S197 was a complete game-changer when it was introduced in 2005. Not only was Ford able to reinvigorate the Mustang brand but it set off a trend of retro-cool vehicles that was copied across not only the muscle car genre across all types of cars, trucks, and SUVs. In 2011, Ford completely redesigned the S197 Mustang with a refreshed exterior, upgraded interior, and a bevy of new engines, including the now-infamous Coyote 5.0L V-8. To accommodate the powerful stock Mustang GT ever sold, Ford upgraded the suspension, as well as the wheel/tire options to go along with this new, beastly motor.
