Steeda Autosports was proud to support and participate in the Second Annual 9/11 Fallen Heroes Mustang Caravan. The event, held to commemorate the Fallen Heroes of the September 11, attack five years ago, is hosted and coordinated by www.SouthFloridaStangs.net a South Florida Internet company whose members all share a passion for Mustang and for this very worthy cause. The inaugural caravan in 2005 was a huge success and raised several thousands of dollars for the Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This year's event raised money for a similar charity: www.911families.org that raises money for the children of those who died in the attacks. Mustang Clubs from West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami worked hard to make the event a rousing success.
Steeda Autosports President, Dario Orlando and son Zachary took part in caravan, driving their 2006 Steeda Q 335. "What a wonderful turnout of over 150 Mustangs for such a worthy cause," Dario stated." We had a great time and it viewing all the Mustangs was a sight to behold" he continued. The Steeda flagship Mustang, the Q 525, fresh from extensive track time and testing the week before at Barber Motorsports Park during the Mustang Club of America 30th Anniversary Stampede, was equally at home on the caravan. Steeda Sales Professional, Patt Kinder, a staunch supporter of the event, which included the caravan, Mustang car show and fund raising barbeque, handled the Q525 driving duties. The barbeque, held at Dania Beach, Florida was highlighted by the fund raising raffle with prizes from a number of companies.
