Veteran SCCA racer, Ed Hosni, running out of Northville, Michigan got a late start this June in SCCA American Sedan racing. However, this not stop Hosni from capturing the SCCA Central Division Championship in his Steeda equipped 1985 Mustang. Winning the Central Division crown is not an easy feat as there is always stiff competition from Firebirds and Camaros campaigned by GM engineers. Ed's Mustang is equipped with the famed, state of the art, Steeda 5-Link rear suspension. When combined with Steeda's caster camber plates, bump steer kit and front sway bar, Hosni's Mustang handles like it on rails. Ed installed Steeda's patented Tri-Ax shifter, the best selling performance shifter on the market, to make sure he never misses a gear in the heat of American Sedan competition.
Next stop for the Central Division Champion is the SCCA Run-Offs at Heartland Park,Topeka, Kansas, where over 700 drivers from all over the country compete for SCCA National Class Championships, October 9-15.
