More and more NASA American Iron Racers are equipped with Steeda performance parts on their Mustangs and it is paying off. Recently Andy Bowman, NASA Pro Racing AI Director, West won at Buttonwillow Raceway, near Bakersfield, California. An American Iron regular on the West Coast, Andy and his 1999 Cobra has been in the hunt all season long with a string of second place podium finishes. Bowman's win propelled the San Marcos resident into first place in the American Iron West standings.
Always in the hunt with a number of podium finishes is the number 34 Fox Body Mustang of Brian McMillan, the hard charger out of Benicia. Both Brian and Andy equipped their Mustangs with Steeda parts including X2 ball joint kits, three and four bolt caster camber kits and full Steeda 5-link rear suspension.
Deep in the heart of Texas, Skip Smith, running out of Dublin has had his 2005 Mustang in Victory Lane on a number of occasions. Competing in the NASA Teas Region, Skip is a long time Steeda customer and his Mustang has been dominant this year.
Jeff Feit has enjoyed a good season so far this year with his 1991 Mustang LX. Competing in the Ohio Indiana NASA American Iron Region, Jeff, who hails from Northville Michigan, has earned podium finishes plus a pair of second place finishes at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
