With it's fresh, 1st Class paint job and flashy new graphics, it's hard to believe that this is the same car Robin Burnett campaigned last season. Yet after the dust settled after the 2005 Tom Nehls Classic, it was obvious that while the appearance of the car had changed, the performance is still worthy of a podium finish.
The Pompano Beach racer chased fellow Floridian and last year's SE Div A Sedan Champion Bob Eubanks to the checkers, putting Steeda on the top two spots on the podium!
Ellis' entry into the sport makes for a good story - will the champion repeater again this season, or will they crown a new champion in the fall? Eubanks is a tough competitor, so we're betting this won't be the last Steeda/Steeda finish we'll see this season in SE Div competition.
