Steeda Autosports leads again, this time as the first performance vehicle manufacturer to get their '05 Mustang performance components approved for use in the 2005 Grand-Am Cup Series. This builds upon the winning tradition established by Steeda in the series, which saw the Steeda-enhanced, Schreiner Racing Cobra R take the Championship in 2002.
Grand American rules keep competition close for production-based racers by judiciously restricting the modifications permitted to the car as delivered from the factory. This in turn demonstrates the Steeda Autosports commitment to Mustang Enthusiasts - the components approved for Grand-Am Cup racing are the same parts available now for street driven 'stangs! With 11races on the international schedule for '05, and television coverage of all races on the SPEED Channel, Mustang fans can expect a lot of excitement in the year ahead.
Racers will be glad to hear that Steeda is continuing their contingency program in the series, which pays out handsomely for podium finishes.
