The SN95 Mustang offered some awesome performance. With the incredibly aerodynamic design, reworked engines, and new personality, the Mustang was ready to play. In order to bring up the fairly impressive for the time 215 horsepower in the GT model, there were many different ways to do it. Cam upgrades, superchargers, and other ways were often used to bring the power out dramatically, but the power is useless when your car is not re-engineered to handle that power. This can mean many different parts, but ensuring you have fuel flowing properly is going to determine if your car works at all.
One of the most important upgrades after increasing the horsepower in your SN95 Mustang is the fuel pump. Upgraded fuel pumps ensure that your engine isn't starved for fuel, keeping it running properly as well as preventing damage to the block. Generally easy to install, these fuel pumps replace the factory units and provide higher volume flow than the factory pieces can. The more fuel going into the engine, the more reliably it can make power so upgrading to a higher volume fuel pump will do exactly that.
Here at Steeda, we have been upgrading and modifying cars for over 35 years and in that time we have seen how big a difference an aftermarket fuel pump can make when pushing a car hard. We have used these fuel pumps in our race cars before to ensure they perform the way we had intended them to. We know how well these fuel pumps work in the 1994-1998 Mustangs, and we know that you will love the improved performance from running one in your car both on and off the street.
